Our notes on this area

The blocks around Sirkeci Station and Hocapaşa hold one of the densest groups of mid-range hotels in the city. Many medical-tourism packages place guests here, because clinic transfers are simple and the Marmaray, the tram and the ferries are all a short walk away. So a typical guest in Sirkeci is a few days after a hair transplant or dental treatment, tired, and not keen to go far.

Eminönü is crowded by day. The Spice Bazaar, the ferry piers and the Galata Bridge traffic can slow cars, which is why we quote 45–60 minutes rather than less; evenings are quieter and visits often faster. Sirkeci is in the central zone, so daytime visits have no fee, while 22:00 to 07:00 carries a €40 night supplement. If you recently had surgery, keep the clinic’s aftercare sheet at hand. The doctor reads it before saying yes, and may say not yet.

Local questions

01

My clinic booked me a hotel in Sirkeci after a hair transplant. When can I have a drip?

It depends on your procedure and medicines, so the doctor reviews your questionnaire and the clinic’s aftercare notes first. Your clinic’s instructions always come first, and some patients are asked to wait a few days.

02

Can the nurse come late at night to a hotel near Sirkeci Station?

Yes, we work 24/7. Between 22:00 and 07:00 a €40 night supplement is added; the streets are quieter then, so arrival is often quicker.

03

My hotel room is very small. Is that a problem?

No. The nurse needs a bed or chair, somewhere to hang the bag, and about an hour. All materials are sterile and single-use, and the waste leaves with the nurse.

04

Two of us had treatment at the same clinic. Is there a discount?

Yes, couples get 10% off and groups of 4 or more get 15% off. Each person still fills in their own health questionnaire.

Send us your hotel name.

We confirm the arrival time and visit fee before a nurse sets off.
