Safety & medical team
IV therapy is a medical procedure. We run it like one: doctor review, registered nurses, sealed ingredients and a clear plan if anything goes wrong.
In an emergency, call 112.

Protocols
- 01
Doctor review before every visit
No nurse is sent until a doctor has reviewed your health questionnaire and approved the drip.
- 02
Vital signs before and during
Blood pressure, pulse and oxygen saturation are checked before the cannula is placed and monitored throughout.
- 03
Sealed ingredients only
Every vial and bag is pharmaceutical-grade, sealed and opened in front of you. Batch numbers are recorded.
- 04
Sterile single-use materials
Cannulas, lines, syringes and gloves are used once and disposed of as medical waste.
- 05
The nurse stays throughout
The nurse stays with you until the drip is finished and the cannula is removed.
Screening questions
Before we confirm, the doctor asks about:
- Q1Your age, weight and how you feel today
- Q2Any recent surgery or procedure, and your clinic’s instructions
- Q3Heart, kidney or liver conditions
- Q4Medicines you take, including blood thinners and diuretics
- Q5Allergies to medicines, vitamins or latex
- Q6Pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Q7Alcohol or other substances in the last 24 hours
Who should not have a drip
Sometimes the safest answer is no. The doctor will decline or postpone the visit in these cases:
| Condition | Why |
|---|---|
| Pregnancy | Not without your own doctor’s approval. |
| Kidney failure | Your kidneys may not clear fluids and minerals safely. |
| Heart failure | Extra fluid can put strain on the heart. |
| Certain medicines | Including some blood thinners, diuretics, and heart or kidney medicines. |
| Known allergy | To any ingredient in the drip. |
| Acute symptoms | Chest pain, shortness of breath, fainting or severe pain need emergency care, not a drip. Call 112. |
