IV therapy at home in Moda

Moda is where many long-stay expats and remote workers on the Asian side rent their flats. A doctor reviews your booking first, then a registered nurse comes to your door, with no visit fee in this central zone.

Our notes on this area

Moda sits on a small peninsula south of Kadıköy pier, and most stays here are rented flats in older apartment buildings rather than big hotels. That suits a home drip well: you stay on your own sofa, the nurse sets up a portable stand, and most drips take 40–60 minutes. Many buildings have narrow stairs and no lift, so tell us the floor and the door code when you book.

After the doctor approves, the nurse usually reaches Moda in about 50–70 minutes. Daytime visits are free here; between 22:00 and 07:00 a €40 night fee applies. The back streets are residential and quiet in the evening, and nurses keep visits low-key. If you came to Istanbul for dental work and sleep nearby, check with your clinic first: their aftercare instructions come before any drip.

Local questions

01

My flat in Moda has no lift. Is that a problem?

No. The nurse carries a compact kit and a portable stand. Send the floor, building name and door code on WhatsApp so the visit starts on time.

02

Is there a visit fee for Moda?

No. Moda is in our central zone, so daytime visits have no fee. Between 22:00 and 07:00 a €40 night fee is added.

03

I’m on a long stay in Moda. Can I book drips regularly?

You can book again whenever you like, but every booking goes through the doctor’s review again. Evidence for routine wellness drips is limited, so we do not push a schedule.

04

Can the nurse come late without disturbing my neighbours?

Yes. A drip makes no noise, the nurse arrives quietly and takes all medical waste away. Night visits (22:00–07:00) carry the €40 night fee.

Send us your hotel name.

We confirm the arrival time and visit fee before a nurse sets off.
