Our notes on this area

Arnavutköy on the Bosphorus is a quiet strip of wooden houses, fish restaurants and steep lanes climbing from the water. There are few big hotels. Most guests stay in rented houses and flats, often for longer trips, or live here and book a drip for themselves at home. So the visit feels more like a home call than a hotel call. The nurse brings everything needed, including sterile single-use materials, a BP monitor and a pulse oximeter, and takes all medical waste away afterwards.

The village is in our central zone, so there is no daytime visit fee; nights from 22:00 to 07:00 add €40. Plan on 50–70 minutes after the doctor approves. One shore road runs through the village, and it backs up at rush hour and on summer weekends. Some lanes are too narrow or steep for a car, so send a map pin of the exact door. Many neighbours keep early quiet hours, and the nurse keeps voices low.

Local questions

01

Is this the same Arnavutköy as the airport district?

No. Istanbul also has a large district called Arnavutköy near Istanbul Airport. This page covers the Bosphorus village, which is in the central zone; hotels near the airport have a €30 visit fee.

02

Can you come to a house with no car access?

Yes. The nurse walks up from the shore road. Send a map pin and tell us roughly how many steps or floors there are.

03

Can my partner and I both have a drip at home?

Yes. Couples get 10% off, and groups of 4 or more get 15% off. Each person fills in their own questionnaire, and the doctor reviews each one separately.

Send us your hotel name.
